Din Din, Omm Nom Nom

As you can see from my kitchen window, it's coooold in West Virginia. So I decided to make a Taco Soup recipe I got from my husband's aunt's mother-in-law. Did you get all that? Anyways, that shiznit was good. Here's the recipe...

Taco Soup
1 pd ground beef (your choice)
2 pkgs taco seasoning
2 pkgs ranch dressing mix
2 cans black beans
2 cans chili beans (your choice of seasoning)
2 cans tomatoes w/ green chilies
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 cans corn
As you can see, I used all Kroger brand ingredients. Don't hate, congratulate! I saved all kinds of $$

-Cook the ground beef in a skillet, drain, and add 1 packet of taco seasoning (follow directions on pkg) to the meat.
Then mix the meat and all of the remaining ingredients in your crock pot.
Cook on high for 2 hours, stir every 30 minutes.
Then cook on low for 1 hour.

Then add whatever taco toppings you would like. I added cheese and sour cream, I'm sure tortilla strips would be good too!
Let me just say, this was awesome! And so easy! I added up how much it cost me and it was only $11.93!! We had 2 bowls last night, will have it again for dinner tonight, and possibly lunch! Suck on that Sandra Lee, HA!
